Media Monitors provides Cox Media new ad tracking service

Media Monitors LLC will provide Cox Media with spot tracking of broadcast TV commercials and its radio and print tracking services.

Media Monitors, a data monitoring company that has been offering advertising intelligence to the radio industry for more than three years and to the newspaper industry for over two years, has signed a multi-market deal with the Cox Media cable advertising sales organization. Using patented proprietary digital fingerprinting technology, Media Monitors provides customers same-day market data that can be accessed at any time via a secure Web site, www.mediamonitors.com.

Through its online services, Media Monitors provides customers the ability to hear, and see the creative (i.e., TV spots, radio commercials, print ads). All information is accessed via a navigation system for both historical and current data. “Cox Media now has the ability to view spots airing on local broadcast television as well as in the local newspaper and on the local radio stations.” said Philippe Generali, President of Media Monitors. “This gives Cox a huge competitive edge in their local marketplaces.”
