CRIME WATCH CLEARS TOP 50 MARKETS

Denver, Indianapolis, Flint, Colorado Springs, Waco, Davenport and Youngstown bring clearances to 92% of the U.S.

Program Partners has added 12 additional markets to the lineup for its procedural drama network, Crime Watch,  set to launch Sept. 6 on 200 stations. New outlets include: KUSA/KTVD Denver, WTHR Indianapolis, WBFF Flint-Saginaw-Bay City,  KKTV Colorado Springs,  KBTX Waco,  WQAD/WBQD  Davenport-Rock Island-Moline, and  WYTV Youngstown.
The two-hour network, which includes Cold Squad and Stone Undercover, is designed to air weekends in primetime or late night.

“It’s a true reflection of the quality and flexibility of these shows,” said Program Partners president Ritch Colbert, commenting on the new licensing deals. “We have clearances in late night from some of the strongest affiliates in the country, as well as primetime commitments on new MyNetworkTV and The CW affiliates. We are the only distributor delivering original, network quality weekend hours to stations.”

Cold Squad features a strong female central character, Sgt. Ali McCormick, leading a team of forensic investigators and pathologists trying to solve long unsolved and abandoned cases. Stone Undercover follows the exploits of a pair of commercial crime fighters.

Program Partners hopes to build Crime Watch into an ongoing network supplying stations with new procedurals for years to come.
