Hallmark names Clint Harris VP, financial planning & analysis

Clint Harris has been named vice president, financial planning & analysis for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. He is based in the networks’ Los Angeles office and reports to Brian Stewart, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Harris will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the company, including the examination of alternative financial and strategic plans for Crown Media Holdings Inc., the owner and operator of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. He will work closely with Stewart to design financial materials that communicate the business to internal and external parties including monthly financial reporting and analysis, and the creation of presentations for investors, senior management and the board of directors.

“We are delighted that Clint has returned to Hallmark Channel,” said Stewart. “He began at the network before its launch, so he has a unique cache of knowledge which will be a critical asset to our business as we move the company forward and reach profitability.”

Harris returns to Hallmark Channels after a stint at Salem Partners LLC as an analyst.  There he identified and analyzed strategic and financial issues for companies in the media and entertainment industries. He also worked with companies to review business plans and to examine feasibility, competitive landscape, market potential and technological issues. Prior to that, Harris was director, planning & analysis at Hallmark Channels; he began his career at the network as a financial analyst.

Harris holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas.
