WZZM, the Grand Rapids, Mich., ABC affiliate owned by Gannett, is re-branding the business section of its Web site and adding local content.

Starting in January the Money page (formerly known as the business page) can be found at wzzm13.com under the Money link on the left navigation bar. It will continue to include the latest business news from West Michigan, Detroit and the United States, powered in part by Gannett’s USA Today and Detroit Free Press.  What’s new is a stock ticker, featuring 30 top local companies and the latest numbers from the NYSE, S&P and NASDAQ. Also added is a new “Movers and Shakers” section, featuring people moving up in local businesses.

“During the day our viewers count on the Internet to receive their information; therefore, we have further localized this page to differentiate it from other national business Web sites,” said WZZM News Director Tim Geraghty.
