21st Century Fox Makes Senior HR Appointments
21st Century Fox today announced two new roles in its global human resources group with the promotion of Julie Franke to SVP of employer brand and strategic talent acquisition, and the appointment of Carsten von der Linden to SVP of talent management.
Von der Linden, who joins 21CF’s HR group from Boston Consulting Group and Franke from Fox Entertainment Group, both report to Thomas Gaissmaier, EVP, chief human resources officer for 21CF, and will be based in Los Angeles.
During a 10-year tenure at BCG, Von der Linden served as a principal based in Munich and Boston and helped establish BCG’s HR practice globally. He has a background in large HR transformations, HR operating models, talent management, leadership development, digital HR and many other HR topics. In addition, Von der Linden has authored numerous reports focusing on HR.
Franke has been VP, talent acquisition operations for Fox Entertainment Group since 2011. In this role, she led recruiting and onboarding for 21CF’s Los Angeles-based film, television and sports businesses. Prior to that, she held a number of senior recruiting roles for clients in the biotech and banking sectors.
