Patrick Communications has been retained to sell WDVB-CD New York and WLPD-CD Chicago.
LocusPoint Networks has retained Patrick Communications to sell its two Class A television stations WDVB-CD New York (DMA 1) and WLPD-CD Chicago (DMA 3).
According to Patrick Communications, with the completion of the FCC’s Incentive Auction, “the number of television stations in Chicago was reduced by six while in New York the number was reduced by ten, leaving significantly fewer outlets available to reach these critical markets.
“Post-auction WDVB is the last remaining significant Class A station” in the New York DMA, reaching approximately 11 million people broadcasting from the Empire State Building. Operating on ch. 23, WDVB broadcasts with 7,000 watts of power.
WLPD-CD broadcasts with 11,000 watts of power on ch. 35 reaching almost 5,500,000 million people with its protected contour.
