Media exec Greg McCastle will oversee all the company’s media sales efforts, including digital, linear and addressable advertising.
Raycom Media today appointed Greg McCastle its new chief revenue officer. He will be responsible for all media sales efforts of Raycom Media including digital, linear and addressable advertising in his new role.
This is a homecoming for McCastle as he was vice president of ad sales with Raycom Sports in the 1990s. Subsequently, he went on to be the EVP of ad sales at Fox Sports Net and EVP of sales and marketing for news digital media at 21st Century Fox.
McCastle has also held posts as president of ad sales and marketing at The Weather Co. that included cable, broadcast, digital and mobile, and at Westwood One as EVP of ad sales and distribution sales.
In 2007, as president of AT&T AdWorks, he launched the U-Verse Local TV, mobile and desktop media business. McCastle later led Cablevision Media’s local cable sales as president.
In 2012, McCastle joined Time Inc. as managing director, global head of agency and client development, where he focused on the development of strategic enterprise of all Time Inc. brands, media platforms, products, and services, including relationships and partnerships.
He was most recently the president of Dstillery, a data science/AI-driven audience and insights solutions company, where he managed all aspects of sales, marketing, business development, ad operations and customer success.
McCastle is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
