Andrew Stewart takes the reins at WOWT Omaha, while Don Davis is promoted at KOSA Odessa to VP-GM.
Gray Television on Thursday appointed two veteran broadcasters to lead its television stations in Omaha, Neb., and Odessa-Midland, Texas.
Gray named Andrew Stewart as its new vice president and general manager of NBC affiliate WOWT Omaha (DMA 74). He also has held GM and sales management positions in Tucson, Ariz., and Albuquerque, N.M., and he previously was corporate director of television sales for the former Lee Enterprises. He will begin at WOWT in early June.
Don Davis joined Gray in late March as the GM of KOSA Odessa-Midland, Texas (DMA 144). He also has more than 35 years of broadcast, media and sales experience. Prior to joining KOSA, he was a senior market manager for Gabriel Media, a company working with television stations across the country to develop new revenue.
Before that, he was director of sales at KBMT Beaumont, Texas, and, previously, he was a VP of sales with Warner Bros. Television’s 100+ Station Group. Davis has held various management, sales, marketing, operations and programming positions during his career.
