In his new role, Matthew Lobdell will be responsible for overseeing the owned stations’ financial operations through a period of continued growth as stations in Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers and El Paso continue to enhance their local newsrooms.
Telemundo Station Group, part of the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal, today appointed Matthew Lobdell chief financial officer. He will lead all financial operations for 26 Telemundo owned stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, and the national multicast network TeleXitos. He will report to Manuel Martinez, president, Telemundo Station Group.
“Matt is a seasoned financial professional,” said Martinez. “He’s done an excellent job managing our stations accounting and reporting operations in Chicago, Dallas and San Diego as each local team experienced periods of massive growth. I look forward to working with Matt as we continue to strengthen our Telemundo stations, including the local teams we’ve recently added to our portfolio.”
