Louis Gattozzi is moving up—from DMA 142 to DMA 78.
Effective April 30, Gattozzi will run Nexstar Broadcasting’s CBS-Fox duopoly in Rochester, N.Y., as VP and general manager, the station group announced this morning.

In the new job, Gattozzi will succeed Marc Jaromin who resigned a few months ago and report to Nexstar’s Senior Vice President/Regional Manager Timothy Busch.
Prior to Erie, Gattozzi served as GM of WTAJ, the CBS affiliate in the Johnstown, Pa., which Nexstar acquired on Jan. 1, 2007. And, from 1981 to 1996 he served as VP of operations at WJW Cleveland, where he spent 15 years overseeing award-winning programming and local production.
