Tom Fleming Named SVP Of Fox Stations Sales

The long-time Fox executive is now overseeing the national sales effort for all 28 Fox owned-and-operated stations.

Tom Fleming has been appointed senior vice president of sales for Fox Stations Sales (FSS). Effective immediately, Fleming will be responsible for overseeing the national sales effort for all 28 Fox owned-and-operated stations, reporting directly to Jim Burke, president of sales, Fox Television Stations. He succeeds Joe Oulvey who died in July.

In making the announcement, Burke said: “Tom’s decades of expertise and extensive knowledge of the marketplace made him a natural fit and the ideal executive to lead FSS and execute our advertising strategy.”

Fleming has been part of the Fox Stations Sales team since its inception. Since 2004, Fleming has been VP and director of sales for Fox Stations Sales. Prior to that, he was VP and general sales manager at Fox Stations Sales and, before that, sales manager.

Previously, Fleming was the VP in charge of managing the sales team for Fox Television Stations.

Earlier in his career, he was an account executive and team sales manager for Petry Television.

A graduate of Connecticut College, Fleming holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
