WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Tamron Hall’ Shines In Mostly Lackluster Week

For the full week ending Jan. 19 — when very few strips were able to improve thanks in part to preemptions for impeachment proceedings — Hall jumped 10% to a new season-high 1.1 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating.

Hot newcomer Tamron Hall raced to its most powerful ratings yet after getting a 20% boost from the prior frame with a candid, one-on-one Oprah Winfrey interview that aired on Jan. 13.

For the full week ending Jan. 19 — when very few strips were able to improve thanks in part to preemptions for impeachment proceedings — Hall jumped 10% to a new season-high 1.1 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating.

The highly regarded freshman, already renewed for a second season, spoke to Oprah about the latter’s personal journey to wellness and her mission to promote health, transformation and triumph around the country.

That episode was clocked at a 1.2 and was Hall’s highest since its big Sept. 9 premieres.

The Kelly Clarkson Show, the only rookie talker finishing ahead of Hall, continued to lead all of the season’s new strips for the 19th week in a row. Clarkson held steady at a 1.3 despite being in reruns for part of the stanza.

The remaining rookie talk show, Mel Robbins, landed well below the top two at an unchanged 0.5 and will conclude its run at the end of the season.
