Allyson Meyers Named KTUL Tulsa VP-GM

Sinclair taps the former Fox Stations general manager to lead its Oklahoma ABC affiliate.

Sinclair Broadcast Group has hired Allyson Meyers to be vice president and general manager of its ABC affiliate KTUL Tulsa, Okla. (DMA 58).

Rob Weisbord, president of Sinclair’s local news and marketing services division, said: “We are excited for Allyson to join our team as general manager of KTUL. Her 18 years of leadership experience in the broadcast industry, as well as her deep commitment to serving community stakeholders, make her a natural choice in Tulsa.”

Prior to joining Sinclair, Meyers was VP-GM of Fox-owned WOFL (Fox), WRBW (MNT) duopoly in Orlando, Fla., and WOGX Gainesville, Fla., from 2013 until 2019.

Prior to that, she was VP-general sales manager of Fox’s WTXF Philadelphia for three years.

Meyers holds a B.A. in communications from the University at Buffalo along with an A.A.S. in business administration from Rockland Community College.
