Apantac Launches UHD Splitters For OpenGear Platform

Apantac, an international manufacturer of multiviewers, video walls, extension and signal processing solutions has launched two UHD splitters for the openGear platform.

Apantac is the first openGear partner to introduce HDMI and HDMI 2.0 products in the openGear platform. The OG-HDM2.0-1×4 and OG-HDM2.0-1×8 allows high quality HDMI 2.0 signals to be transmitted or distributed to four or eight displays – all without any signal degradation. It supports up to 4K / UHD 24/25/30/50/60Hz and HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2/HDCP 1.4.

They also support LPCM, Dolby True HD and Dolby Digital audio.

These cards can be easily cascaded for expanding inputs and outputs up to eight levels.
