The Television Bureau of Advertising has added a session on political advertising to its “Television Goes Multiplatform” 2006 annual marketing conference April 20, at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center.
“Political dollars, of course, are very important to television stations during 2006, and we want to make sure that broadcasters are well-prepared to meet the needs of those customers who are the political campaigns,” said Chris Rohrs, TVB president.
The session—”Political Outlook 2006″—will feature guest speaker and moderator Evan Tracey, COO of the Campaign Media Analysis Group, TNS Media Intelligence, together with Kyle Osterhout, managing partner, Media Strategies and Research, a buyer of political advertising time for Democratic candidates; and Kyle Roberts, president, Smart Media Group, a buyer of advertising time for Republican candidates.
The session is scheduled for 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on April 20, concurrently with a previously announced session on Multiplatform Selling Strategies.
