KJWY Jackson, which now rebroadcasts the Sunbelt’s NBC affiliate in the Idaho Falls-Pocatello, Idaho, market, is being sold for $1 million to a group that also owns radio stations in New Jersey and that earlier bought another satellite TV station in Nevada from Sunbelt.
Sunbelt Communications has agreed to sell KJWY, a satellite station rebroadcasting its NBC affiliate KPVI Idaho Falls-Pocatello, Idaho (DMA162), to PMCM TV LLC for $1 million, according to an FCC filing seeking approval of the deal.
KJWY is licensed to Jackson, Wyo.
PMCM TV last year purchased another satellite station from Sunbelt for $200,000. KVNV Ely, Nev., had rebroadcast Sunbelt’s NBC affiliate in Las Vegas, KVBC.
PMCM TV, based in Concord, N.H., has the same principals as Press Communications, an owner of six radio stations in New Jersey.
The principals are Robert McAllan, Richard Morena, Alfred Colantoni and Jules Plangere.
