Jack L. Peck will head the duopoly of KMPH (Fox) and KFRE (CW), succeeding Charlie Pfaff.
p>Pappas Telecasting Wednesday announced the appointment of Jack L. Peck as vice president-general manager of its duopoly in Fresno, Calif. (DMA 55), KMPH (Fox) and KFRE (CW).
Peck succeeds Charlie Pfaff who has been VP-GM for the past nine years.
Peck has been GM of WPTY-WLMT Memphis and WJKT Jackson, Tenn., for the past 17 years.
Prior to that he was director of sales for WPTY and local and national sales manager for what is now KMAX Sacramento, Calif.
Pappas is operating under Chapter 11 and its stations are in the process of being sold to New World TV Group.
