KTAQ, owned by Michael F. Simons, asks the FCC to transfer license to debtor-in-possession.
Simons Broadcasting LP has asked the FCC to transfer its lone station, KTAQ Dallas-Fort Worth, to Simons Broadcasting, LP, Debtor-in-Possession, following its Chapter 11 bankruptcy late last year.
KTAQ, a religious station known as the Promiseland Television Network, is owned by Michael F. Simons.
Last November, Simons filed for Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas in Waco.
In the filing, assets were estimated at between $500,000 and $1 million, while liabilities were estimated at between $10 million and $50 million.
