While Raycom’s CBS affiliate WOIO airs Ohio State-Siena this Friday night, its MNT affliate will air Cleveland State-Wake Forest.
Raycom’s Cleveland duopoly has succumbed to March Madness.
This Friday night at around 9:30, the stations will simultaneously broadcast games in the NCAA championship tournament, each with high local interest.
CBS affiliate WOIO will air the Ohio State-Siena game, while MNT affiliate WUAB broadcasts the match between hometown Cleveland State and Wake Forest.
CBS holds the right for the entire tournament.
To make room for the Cleveland State game, WUAB will bump MNT’s SmackDown, but will air it immediately after the game.
