The deal is subject to FCC approval, but the buyer, Southern Venture Capital, is already operating the MNT afilliate under terms of programing and marketing agreements.
Josie Park Broadcasting has agreed to sell WRJM Montgomery-Selma, Ala. (DMA 188) to Southern Venture Capital LLC, according to an FCC filing seeking approval of the deal. The MNT affiliate is licensed to Troy, Ala.
The purchase price and contract were not included with the online application.
Josie, headed by President Whit Armstrong, owns no other TV stations.
Southern Venture Capital is equally owned by David Harrison, of Ponce De Leon, Fla.; Kelly Baxter, of Enterprise, Ala.; and Dale Folmer, of New Brockton , Ala.
Southern Venture is already operating the station under terms of a agreement dated Jan. 19.
