WZZM Expands Cable Coverage in SW Michigan

The Gannett ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, Mich., WZZM, has expanded its cable coverage on Comcast in southwest Michigan. Comcast systems in Battle Creek, Lawton, Oshtemo and Three Rivers are now carrying WZZM’s standard-definition and high-definition signals.

These systems are also carrying WZZM’s 13 On Target Weather Network, a 24/7 local weather channel for West Michigan. WZZM’s SD channel is part of Comcast’s basic package.

This means that viewers in these communities can now watch programs, such as Judge Judy, Entertainment Tonight, Insider, Millionaire, Deal No Deal, Take Five & Company, and WZZM 13 News. “We are pleased to provide a lot more viewing options for our customers in these four communities,” said Janet Mason, WZZM president-general manager. “Viewers now have another local news perspective and some of the most popular television shows in syndication.”
