Former Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution exec Lenny Bart will oversee all operational aspects of the syndicator.
Industry veteran Lenny Bart has been appointed to the post of executive vice president and general manager of the syndicator Debmar-Mercury.
In his newly created role, Bart, formerly executive vice president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, will oversee all operational aspects of Debmar-Mercury.
The company said Bart will be charged with identifying strategic and operating opportunities while managing costs and overseeing multiple departments. His responsibilities will include domestic and international business operations, financial analysis, accounting, contracts, IT, administration and management reporting.
“Lenny is an outstanding executive with an intrinsic understanding of every aspect of this business,” said Mort Marcus, D-M co-president. “He will play a vital role in managing our new and existing programming assets as we move forward on multiple fronts.”
During a career spanning 22 years at Warner Bros., Bart was responsible for the Domestic Television Distribution division’s fee spot business. He played a principal role in driving critical initiatives, building business plans, recommending syndicated program acquisitions, budget and financial management, systems creation and revenue forecasting.
