Nexstar, which manages Four Points’ stations in the Florida market, taps Hearst-Argyle’s Arika Zink to be VP-general manager of WTVX, WTCN-CA and WWHB-CA.
Nexstar Broadcasting Group, which provides management services to seven Four Points Media Group television stations, announced today that Arika Zink has been appointed vice president-general manager of Four Points’ West Palm Beach, Fla. (DMA 38), television operations consisting of CW affiliate WTVX, MNT affiliate WTCN-CA, Azteca América affiliate WWHB-CA and Retro TV on a subchannel of WTVX.
The appointment is effective immediately, and Zink will report to Timothy Busch, co-chief operating officer of Nexstar Broadcasting.
Zink has over 21 years of broadcasting experience, including revenue-focused sales management and general sales manager experience and a background in corporate sales operation management.
She most recently was the corporate director of broadcast operations for Hearst-Argyle Television, coaching, developing and monetizing strategic revenue opportunities.
Prior to joining the Hearst corporate team, Zink held broadcast sales and management positions in South Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia and began her career in the television broadcast industry in 1986.
A native of West Virginia, Zink attended West Virginia University’s Peerly Isaac Reed School of Journalism.
