The half-hour broadcast on the Tribune Dallas CW affiliate will be anchored by Walt Maciborski and Amanda Salinas and will feature a local high school sports segment.
Tribune’s CW affiliate KDAF Dallas (DMA 5) will be adding a 5:30 p.m. newscast beginning Sept. 21. The half-hour broadcast will feature local news, local weather, local traffic and a local high school sports segment.
Many familiar faces from the station’s 9 p.m. news will be featured on The 33 News at 5:30, including Meteorologist Rebecca Miller and Anchor-Reporters Walt Maciborski and Amanda Salinas. Barry Carpenter will offer health headlines, Roni Proter will report on local entertainment news and Candice Crawford will focus on high school sports.
