Fox Television Stations named Joseph Di Scipio vice president of legal and FCC compliance. He replaces Dianne Smith, who left last month to join the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.
Joseph Di Scipio was named vice president of legal and FCC compliance for Fox Television Stations, effective immediately. He replaces Dianne Smith, who left late last month to join the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.
Di Scipio was previously an attorney with communications law firm Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, P.L.C., where he specialized in mass media, wireless, wireline and digital/Internet regulation, providing guidance and counsel to clients on Federal Communications Commission compliance.
Di Scipio’s “unique background of legal and regulatory experience will allow him to provide valuable insight and guidance to our stations as we continue to innovate and expand our business,” Fox TV Stations CEO Jack Abernathy said.
Di Scipio is the current Assistant Secretary of the Federal Communications Bar Association.
