Entertainment Studios will debut the courtroom show in broadcast and cable syndication next year.
Entertainment Studios Inc., an independent producer and distributor of first-run syndicated television programming for TV stations, and owner of six 24-hour HD television networks, today announced the launch of its19th television program — America’s Court with Judge Ross, which will be shot in HD.
The show, according to Entertainment Studios, “shows litigants unique ways in which they can responsibly deal with their unlawful or wrongful acts, and also forces wrongdoers to reflect on the consequences of their transgressions.”
At age 35, Kevin A. Ross was the youngest judge ever elected to the bench in the state of California. He served for eight years as a prosecutor and seven years as a Superior Court judge.
During his seven years on the bench, Ross handled between 60,000 to 70,000 cases, ranging from traffic and small claims matters, to sexually violent predators and murderers.
