Financial veteran Peter Lops joins new network from the NFL>.
Betsy Swanson, executive vice president and CFO, Fox Television Stations Inc. today named Peter Lops vice president, finance, for My Network TV. Reporting to Swanson, Lops will be responsible for overseeing all financial capabilities for the new network.
In making the announcement, Swanson said, “Peter has a seasoned career in finance and is an expert at developing and managing strategic financial initiatives. His invaluable experience and knowledge in launching the NFL Network makes him the ideal candidate to help build My Network TV.”
Lops joins MNT after eight years with the National Football League. Most recently, he was vice president of financial planning and analysis with responsibility for managing business risks and opportunities and leading the annual business planning and budget processes.
From 2000 to 2003, Lops was finance director for the NFL Media and International Divisions when he built the NFL Network financial model, business plan and operating budget. He began his career at the NFL as the controller in 1997.
Prior to his tenure at the NFL, Lops was an audit and business advisory manager for Arthur Andersen LLP.
