The Salinas, Calif., Hearst NBC affiliate will feature talk shows, news and Access Hollywood at 7-10:30 each weeknight beginning Aug. 2.
Hearst NBC affiliate KSBW Salinas, Calif. (dma 124) will give viewers new programming choices on its secondary digital channel starting Aug. 2. KSBW PrimePLUS+ will provide a primetime alternative from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
KSBW PrimePLUS+ will feature two of the nation’s talk show powerhouses, Dr. Phil and Oprah, which will air from 8 to 10 p.m., putting them up against all network programming. Action News 8 at 10 p.m. will follow Oprah, providing viewers an earlier late news option. Early evening commuters will also have a new alternative for local news with an encore broadcast of Action News 8 followed by Access Hollywood at 7:30 p.m.

Comcast digital cable will carry KSBW PrimePLUS+ on ch. 186 and viewers of free, over-the-air television will find it on ch. 8.2 when using an antenna. The KSBW WeatherPLUS+ local weather forecast service will continue to be broadcast on the channel during the hours leading up to and after KSBW PrimePLUS+.
