With the planned Sept. 5 launch now less than two months away, My Network Television tops 90% clearance with the addition of affiliates in Miami; West Palm Beach, Fla.; New Orleans; Denver; Harrisburg, Pa.; Jacksonville, Fla., and Columbus, Ohio.
My Network Television said today that it has signed an agreement with CBS Television Stations to bring WBFS Miami (DMA 17), WTCN-CA West Palm Beach, Fla., (DMA 38) and WUPL New Orleans (DMA 43) into the MTN fold.
My Network TV also announced affiliation agreements with Multimedia Holdings Corporation for KTVD Denver (DMA 18); Clear Channel Television for WHP-DT Harrisburg (DMA 41) and WAWS-DT Jacksonville (DMA 52); and Sinclair Broadcasting Group for WSYX-DT Columbus, Ohio (DMA 32).
The new agreements they push the network past its goal of reaching 90% of the United States by the date of its launch—Sept. 5—MNT said.
My Network TV is now cleared in 158 markets, or more than 91% of the country, including 48 of the top 50 markets, and 94 of the top 100. Announcements on the remaining two markets in the top 50 are expected shortly and discussions for additional affiliate deals will continue throughout the summer.
