The business news weekly aimed at African Americans will be carried on subchannels in New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Francisco, Miami and San Diego beginning Feb. 12.
Black Enterprise Business Report, a half-hour nationally syndicated program that spotlights successful African American power players and business executives, will add five NBC-owned stations to the show’s growing affiliate list beginning Feb. 12.
The new market clearances added via the NBC Nonstop Network include subchannels on KNSD San Diego; KNTV San Francisco; KXAS Dallas-Fort Worth; WNBC New York; and WTVJ Miami. Black Enterprise Business Report already airs on NBC’s Nonstop Network in Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington.
“We are delighted to partner with NBC-owned stations across the country in carrying Black Enterprise Business Report,” said Black Enterprise President-CEO, Earl “Butch” Graves Jr. “The addition of our program to their digital Nonstop lineup is a decisive move to reach the nearly 38 million African Americans in this country who are vastly underserved by current mass media. The NBC-owned stations understand this dynamic, growing population is hungry for original programming and targeting this demographic will diversify their audience and expand their overall appeal to both audiences and advertisers alike.”
“The addition of Black Enterprise Business Report to our Nonstop lineup is an exciting opportunity to expand the offerings we provide and connect with more viewers in our markets,” said Meredith McGinn, VP of local programming for NBC Owned Stations. “We are excited to enhance our lineup with such an interesting program.”
Now reaching 99% of U.S. black households airing in 210 cable network markets and on 64 TV stations nationwide, Black Enterprise Business Report, hosted by Caroline Clarke, is a business news and executive lifestyle program that highlights successful African Americans. The program offers a mix of one-on-one “Power Player” interviews with top black corporate executives, “Wealth for Life” discussions on personal finance, “Entrepreneur of the Week” profiles of successful small business owners, and “Executive Style,” featuring lifestyle trends and luxury living for consumers.
