With the addition of Phoenix, Minneapolis and Orlando, the new broadcast network reaches 60% U.S. coverage, including 80% of African-American homes.
Bounce TV, the broadcast TV network for African Americans, today announced that it will be launched on Fox Television Stations (FTS) MyNetworkTV subchannels in Phoenix (DMA 13), Minneapolis (DMA 15) and Orlando, Fla. (DMA 19).
FTS already carries Bounce TV in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Baltimore and it is the only digital over-the-air network FTS currently airs.
With the addition of the three new FTS markets, Bounce TV will be seen in 17 of the top 20 African-American DMAs, 80% of African-American homes and more than 60% of U.S. television households.
In addition to the seven FTS markets, Bounce TV is also available in Chicago; Atlanta; Washington; Philadelphia; Houston; Cleveland-Akron, Ohio; Milwaukee; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati; Indianapolis; Kansas City; Hartford-New Haven, Conn.; Norfolk, Va.; Dayton, Ohio; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Birmingham, Ala.; Memphis, Louisville, Ky.; and Richmond, Va.
Bounce TV targets African Americans primarily between the ages of 25-54 with a programming mix of theatrical motion pictures, live sporting events, documentaries, specials, inspirational faith-based programs, off-net series including Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids and Soul Train, original programming and more.
