With the addition of WABC, KABC, WLS, WPVI and WTVD, the entire broadcast group is subscribing to the measurement service.
Media measurement company Rentrak has expanded its multi-year agreement with the with ABC Owned Television Stations by adding New York (WABC), Los Angeles (KABC), Chicago (WLS), Philadelphia (WPVI) and Raleigh-Durham, N.C. (WTVD). These stations join ABC Owned Television Stations in San Francisco (KGO), Houston (KTRK) and Fresno, Calif. (KFSN).
ABC was the first network-owned station group to sign with Rentrak in 2012 and, under the new agreement, its entire owned station footprint will now use Rentrak’s advanced demographics ratings information.
Since its initial collaboration with ABC, Rentrak has signed agreements with CBS, NBC and Fox. Earlier this year, Fox also signed a deal to go “all in” with its entire station footprint. Currently, 64% of network-owned stations are Rentrak clients.
