Unscripted programming exec Donna Harrison is working with Ken Reiner and Susana Schuler on developing unscripted weekly and strip series.
Donna Harrison has joined the programming team of Raycom Media as original programming consultant to focus on development and production of unscripted weekly and strip series.
Harrison will be working with Raycom Media’s VP of programming, Ken Reiner, and SVP of content and marketing, Susana Schuler, on “identifying and shepherding development of concepts and talent that meet the time period needs and genre appetite of the group while also cultivating production partnerships in both the creative and advertising communities,” according to the company.
She is based at Raycom Media’s Burbank, Calif., offices.
Raycom says Harrison will place priority on strip series for daytime and early fringe day parts while also exploring concepts for weekend time periods. Harrison offers a dual background as an Emmy-winning producer and as an unscripted programming senior executive with companies including Paramount, Lifetime, Tribune and Fox.
“Donna’s extensive experience in unscripted genres, vast industry relationships and hands-on production knowledge will play a significant role in the company’s plans to take greater control of its multi-platform programming. We’re very excited to have her part of our team,” Reiner said.
