WBNS To Expand Sunday Morning Newscast

Dispatch Broadcast Group’s CBS affiliate WBNS Columbus, Ohio (DMA 32), announced today that it will expand its Sunday morning newscast.

Beginning Nov. 30, 10TV News Weekend will begin broadcasting from 6:30 to 9 a.m., leading into CBS Sunday Morning.

“This move creates a strong block of news programming on Sunday mornings,” said WBNS Director of News Elbert Tucker. “10TV News will be followed immediately by the very popular CBS Sunday Morning and Face the Nation. This extra half hour of 10TV News will provide our viewers with more news and information, which they tell us is important to them.”

As a result of the newscast expansion, Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild will move to 11:30 a.m.
