Fox taps the former KARE Minneapolis local sales manager to head sales at its Minneapolis Fox-MNT duopoly.
Jason Sirek has joined Fox-owned duopoly KMSP (Fox)-WFTC (MNT) Minneapolis (DMA 15) as VP-general sales manager.
Effective immediately, Sirek is responsible for overseeing both stations’ sales initiatives, reporting directly to GM Shelia Oliver.
Sirek has 17 years of broadcast television experience. He most recently was local sales manager of KARE Minneapolis-St. Paul, where he spent more than five years.
Prior to that, he worked seven years with KMSP-WFTC, where he started as a local account executive, and later became national sales manager. Sirek began his broadcast career as a local account executive with PAX Television in 1998.
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in business and emphasis in marketing and finance.
