The Hispanic media company promotes Carlos Deschapelles to lead its network and digital sales teams across the country with a focus on sports sales.
Univision Communications Inc. today promoted Carlos Deschapelles to executive vice president of network and digital sales.
In this role, Deschapelles — together with Trisha Pray and John Kelly — will continue leading UCI’s network and digital sales teams across the country with a focus on sports sales.
Since joining UCI, he has served as the national sales manager at WLTV Miami, director of national spot sales, sales leader for UniMás and SVP of the network’s regional sales offices.
Most recently, he was SVP of sports sales, overseeing the sports sales team across UCI’s expanding portfolio of sports properties and platforms, including television, radio and digital.
As SVP, Deschapelles also oversaw sales for Univision Deportes Network (UDN), the 24-hour sports cable network launched in 2012.
