The Hispanic group promotes Jose Villafane, putting him in charge of national sales across Entravision’s integrated media platform.
Entravision Communications Corp. today promoted Jose M. Villafane to the newly created position of president of Entravision national sales, effective immediately.
In his new role, Villafane will oversee all of Entravision’s national advertising efforts across Entravision Solutions, Entravision Audio Network and the company’s national spot TV and radio sales. Villafane previously served as EVP of Entravision Solutions and oversaw network and national spot sales for Entravision-owned and operated and partner radio stations.
The company said “this newly created position further enhances Entravision’s goal to improve efficiencies and streamline its operations. By aligning all of the company’s national sales operations under one umbrella, agencies and clients can better utilize and apply Entravision’s expansive coast-to-coast offerings across its TV, radio and events platforms.”
With almost 20 years of industry experience Villafane has worked in sales and advertising at several communications companies in Latino media focusing on both local and national TV and radio.
Villafane will be based in New York and oversee the company’s sales offices in New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles.
