The former Meredith Corp. executive takes over Fox’s WJZY and WMYT in North Carolina.
Fox Television Stations today appointed Kieran Clarke vice president and general manager of the Fox duopoly in Charlotte, N.C. (DMA 24), which comprises WJZY (Fox) and WMYT (MNT.
Clarke succeeds Karen Adams who left in July to become VP of corporate initiatives at FTS. Clarke’s position is effective in September.
Previously, Clarke was EVP-GM at Meredith Corp., where he led business development and strategies. Prior to that, he was VP-GM of KPTV and KPDX in Portland, Ore.
Earlier in his career, Clarke was VP-GM of KWBP Portland.
A graduate of Curry College in Milton, Mass., Clarke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management.
