With the wall-to-wall coverage starting at 10 a.m. ET, the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing involving Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford promises to be a national drama along the lines of Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearing in 1991, when Anita Hill testified that he had sexually harassed her.
The move by the Local Media Association is in partnership with Facebook, Instagram and CrowdTangle.
The ABC News correspondent will appear in conversation with NAB President-CEO Gordon Smith on Oct. 18.

Launched in April, ABC News Live is a 24-hour streaming channel that provides live coverage of breaking news and events. Programming on the channel includes livestreams produced by ABC News production teams and reporters from around the world, as well as user-generated videos sourced and cleared by the outlet’s news-gathering team.
