ABC Renews ‘Big Sky,’ ‘The Wonder Years,’ ‘A Million Little Things,’ Plus 2 Others

Bucking this week’s cancellation trend, ABC on Friday renewed all five of its remaining scripted bubble shows. For those keeping track at home, that includes dramas Big Sky (for Season 3) and A Million Little Things (for Season 5), as well as comedies The Conners (for Season 5), Home Economics (for Season 3) and The Wonder Years (for Season 2).

‘A Million Little Things’ & ‘Big Sky’ Return Dates Set On ABC

ABC has announced midseason premiere dates for a pair of 10 p.m. drama series. A Million Little Things returns for the second half of its fourth season on Wednesday, Feb. 23, and Big Sky is back for Season 2B on Thursday, Feb. 24.

‘Good Doctor,’ ‘A Million Little Things,’ ‘Shark Tank’ Renewed At ABC

ABC has renewed scripted shows The Good Doctor and A Million Little Things as well as the unscripted series Shark Tank. The announcement was part of ABC’s day at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Tuesday.

ABC is giving A Million Little Things a big vote of confidence. The Alphabet net on Wednesday unveiled its midseason schedule, and its shifting the promising rookie drama to Thursdays at 9 p.m. following juggernaut Grey’s Anatomy.

ABC Orders More Scripts For Four Shows

Freshman dramas A Million Little Things and The Rookie, along with freshman comedy The Kids Are Alright and sophomore comedy Splitting Up Together have all received orders for more scripts for this season.
