NBC has firmed up its schedule for the rest of the broadcast season, setting late winter and spring premiere dates. The slate includes two new series, drama The Enemy Within and The Village, and two returning sophomores that debuted last midseason, comedy A.P. Bio and comedic drama Good Girls. Additionally, NBC has set premiere dates for reality series The Voice and World Of Dance.
‘A.P. Bio’ Off To A Slow Start On NBC
NBC’s new comedy series AP Bio failed to generate significant numbers in the Nielsen overnights during its premiere on Thursday. Airing at 9:30 p.m., it drew a 0.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers. That is upslightly from Great News‘ average in the same time slot in Live+Same Day (0.7, 2.9 million). However, it was the only NBC program of the night to draw less than a 1.0 in the demo.
NBC said Monday it has ordered the series, titled A.P. Bio, for next season. It’s the first new 2017-18 comedy announced by the network and stars Glenn Howerton of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
