Ad blockers might be skewing advertising metrics more than initially thought. Research from Catchpoint Systems shows ad blockers make Web pages load faster with ad-heavy news sites being the fastest. Additional research from Secret Media and JW Player shows 26% of time spent watching video on desktop in the U.S. is unmonetized because of ad-blocking software, a number that jumps to 62% in the U.K.
