Amazon said it is adding on-demand local news in 88 more cities to tie news app on Fire TV. The stories come from stations owned by Disney’s ABC Television Stations, CBSN, Tegna, Cox, Scripps and Altice USA. Amazon introduced local news last year in 12 cities, including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Jeep’s soon-to-be-revealed Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be the first vehicles in the automotive industry to integrate Amazon Fire TV for Auto, according to the automaker. In-car connectivity will allow passengers to stream their favorite shows or movies together or separately while staying linked to their digital lives, with access to apps and Alexa.

TikTok has launched its first TV app on Amazon Fire TV devices. “More on TikTok” features curated video playlists and compilations from the mobile TikTok app, as well as interviews with creators, along with other content that runs over the one-minute limit on the phone app. The app is a view-only channel, so users won’t need to log in, and it won’t enable them to upload videos.
