Latakoo’s newly launched Manifest integrates with AP ENPS to accelerate news production capabilities for broadcasters.
Latakoo’s integration with AP’s ENPS allows large organizations to collect assignments created in ENPS, as well as update existing assignments in ENPS with files uploaded from Latakoo. The company says integration of these two platforms “means assignments can be easily matched with video files delivered by Latakoo — making tracking stories and their related files, efficient and intuitive.”
TV journalists can look forward to seeing the latest solutions to their newsgathering and distribution challenges at the NAB Show. Among the trends to be on display on the exhibit floor are story-centric workflow, greater collaboration and content sharing — both within the station and among stations — and extending the reach of the systems to reporters in the field. The Associated Press will showcase its mobile version of AP ENPS, its multiplatform news production system, at the NAB Show in Las Vegas next week. Users can upload photos and video into AP ENPS along with stories using a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device and send to digital production or on-air broadcast.
