The Bahakel Communications-owned ABC affiliate in Jackson, Tenn., will begin broadcasting CBS network programming on ch. 7.3 beginning Jan. 1.
In addition to buying WBMM Montgomery-Salem, Ala., from Sagamore Hill for $3.5 million, Bahakel is entering into contracts to operate its ABC affiliate, WNCF. Counting the CBS affiliate it already owns, WAKA, Bahakel will end up with three stations in the market following FCC approval.
