KARE Minneapolis grew its 10 p.m. newscast viewership 25% year-to-year in November. “It was pretty unusual to watch the 10 o’clock news double, triple and quadruple share from the lead in night after night,” says Bill Dallman, KARE’s GM.
He joins the Tegna NBC affiliate from KOMO Seattle, where he’s been news director since 2018 and succeeds the retiring John Remes.
KCBS-KCAL News Director Bill Dallman is out after two years with the CBS-owned Los Angeles duopoly. A CBS spokesperson confirmed Dallman’s departure but declined to comment on why, only saying he was not fired.
The long-time TV newsman and Fox Sports 1 executive will succeed Scott Diener at CBS’s Los Angeles duopoly beginning next month.
