MSNBC Apologizes After Reporting That Bob Dylan Died Last Year

Everybody On TV Loves ‘Like A Rolling Stone’

A new video for Bob Dylan’s 1965 hit Like a Rolling Stone has gotten its first music video — and it’s an amazing one. (The above is a teaser clip, watch the full video here.) The interactive video lets viewers use the up/down keys on their keyboards to flip through 16 actual TV channels to see people lip syncing the lyrics, ranging from Drew Carey on The Price Is Right to BBC News. “I’m using the medium of television to look back right at us,” director Vania Heymann told Mashable. “You’re flipping yourself to death with switching channels [in real life].” The video’s debut coincides with the release of Dylan’s 47-CD box set (The Complete Album Collection Volume 1) from Columbia/Legacy Recordings, which hired digital agency Interlude to create this video. Adds Interlude CEO Yoni Bloch: “You’ll always miss something because you can’t watch everything at the same time.”
