Brad Remington, VP-GM of Scripps-owned ABC affiliate KMGH Denver (DMA 17), plans to retire in mid-December, the station announced Wednesday. During his time as GM, KMGH said, “he has led new branding efforts, grown community partnerships and increased KMGH’s strong commitment to investigative reporting.” Remington said he looks forward to spending more time with his wife of 39 years, Nan, and their children and grandchildren. KMGH said the search for his replacement begins immediately.
The former KTVK Phoenix news director takes the reins March 9 at the Scripps ABC-Azteca duopoly in Denver. He previously worked at KMGH as managing editor from 1989 to 1996.
