Fox News morning programming and talent development chief Lauren Petterson has been named the new president of Fox Business Network, taking over for Brian Jones, who is leaving the network for unspecified reasons.
The executive with more than 30 years of broadcast experience promoted to oversee Nexstar’s Southeast television and digital media operations.
Fox News co-president Bill Shine is out at Fox News. The move comes as Shine was due back on Monday after two days out of the office for a pre-planned long weekend. Suzanne Scott becomes president of programming and Jay Wallace has been promoted to president of news. Additionally, Brian Jones, EVP of Fox Business Network becomes president of the network reporting to Scott and Wallace.
