‘9-1-1’ Tops Monday Following 6-Week Break

Fox’s 9-1-1 returned from a six-week hiatus to 5.9 million total viewers and a 1.0 demo rating, down a tick from its previous fresh episode but still topping Monday in the demo. Over on NBC, The Voice (6.2M/0.85) rose week-to-week and led Monday in total audience.

Ratings Show Viewers Will Take Williams Back

Brian Williams’ coverage of the pope’s arrival Tuesday in the United States was watched by 526,000 viewers from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern, according to Nielsen, a 57% lift over what the cable news network has drawn in those hours over the previous four weeks. The report was the first time viewers had seen Williams in the TV news anchor chair since February, when he was suspended from NBC’s Nightly News.
